Lee Nave Jr. joined in August 2022 with over a decade of experience in community organizing and city government. For nearly five years, Lee advocated for juvenile justice reform at Citizens for Juvenile, generating systemic change with leaders of our statewide child welfare systems. His work also has delved into forming coalitions on creating more equitable affordable housing during his time as a program director for Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation.

Lee holds a dual Master's Degree in Public Administration and International Relations from Seton Hall University. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and Communications from Ottawa University (KS). He resides in Allston with his wife and son.

BJ Osuagwu works closely with constituents to coordinate and execute projects and requests for District 6. He believes in the mission, vision, and values of Councilor Lara and the importance of helping create and facilitate a positive experience for all that interact with the office.

In 2020, BJ graduated with a B.A. in Political Science & Sociology from Gordon College. An alumnus of the Gordon College Clarendon Scholars Honors program and the Gordon College Presidential Fellows program, he co-founded the first Black Student Union at Gordon and helped facilitate conversations of race and reconciliation between Gordon faculty & staff and students of African descent.

My'Kel McMillen is a grassroots organizer, community advocate, and a native son of Mildred C. Hailey Apartments in JP. His love for community and social justice has led him to the doors of City Hall, where he has served in his current role since January 2022. My'Kel is committed to echoing the voices that are unheard and improving the lives of the constituents in District 6.

Outside of City Hall, My’Kel is passionate about helping the homeless community. He runs a nonprofit called “Mack’s Soles,” which collects old footwear and essential items and repurposes them back to the homeless community.

Jacky Celestino is passionate about bringing City Hall to you. In her position, she aims to empower D6 by informing the community about the policies affecting their livelihood.

Jacky graduated from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst with dual bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Media Production, Storytelling, & Advocacy. As an undergrad, she was the co-host and producer of the UMass Film Studies podcast 'UMassterclass.' Jacky also sat on the Outing Club’s e-board, the oldest club on campus, as the first-ever Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair, a position she pioneered.

Clara Goldberg believes systemic change is best sought at the local level, and communities have a unique and necessary role in creating more just and equitable policy. As a resident of West Roxbury, she is eager to make a change in her community through policy research.

Clara graduated from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. Before joining Councilor Lara’s team, Clara was a legislative assistant for Massachusetts Senator Jo Comerford, the first woman to hold the seat for the Franklin, Hampshire, and Worcester districts.
